The Design for Distancing Program was part of a community initiative to bring architects and public health experts together during the COVID-19 pandemic to encourage the public to safely engage in their neighborhoods and provide strategies to implement public guidelines for social distancing.  Twopoint Studio and Elite Construction were one of 17 teams selected to create installations in various City Districts.  Teamed with the Greater Baybrook Alliance in the Brooklyn neighborhood of South Baltimore, the design of a graphic design system was used to promote social distancing, create identity for small restaurants suffering from loss of indoor restrictions, and encourage safe opportunities to gather while patronizing local businesses. The program was sponsored by the Mayor & City Council of Baltimore City, the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) and the Neighborhood Design Center (NDC).
