Ammoora is an elevated restaurant featuring Levantine cuisine in a finely detailed environment.  The interior design of the restaurant creates a Syrian inspired experience, drawing in guests with its warm palette, intricate patterning, ambient lighting, and exquisite detailing throughout.

The 5,000 sf floor plan leftover from the previous restaurant tenant was revised with collaboration from LUUA Design Studio and owner to work with the vision of the new restaurant and to address inefficiencies of the previous kitchen plan.  Guests enter the restaurant through its front bar and lounge area featuring soft, curving walls and banquettes located around a central bar.  The lounge is separated from the main dining room by a corridor featuring custom patterned screens inspired by Levantine design that guests walk through as they look into the open kitchen that is displayed alongside the path.  The open kitchen remained in the same location as it did under the previous tenant but was reworked to accommodate both the workflow of the new chef and specialty equipment required by the new menu concept.

From the corridor portal, guests are released into a spacious dining room inspired by a Syrian courtyard.  A grand, double height volume is at the center of the space while more intimate dining spaces are tucked into arched alcoves and banquettes at the perimeter.  Throughout the restaurant, recesses in the ceiling left over from the previous tenant were reshaped and equipped with mirrored surfaces and cove lighting to add to the ambience of the space.  The finished space welcomes its guests with warmth, displaying a glimpse into Syrian aesthetic and traditions and allowing the Levantine cuisine to shine.
