CHERRY HILL ROWHOMES

Consisting of five long-vacant rowhomes in serious structural distress, this rehabilitation project created two-bedroom, one-bathroom units. Each home features a living room on the entry level and a kitchen on the half level down, opening to the rear yard. The project serves as a model for future development, advancing homeownership and reducing blight in a predominantly Black, 1940s-era public housing neighborhood. A Community Land Trust helps preserve affordability while maintaining the value of land within the community.
