KEVIN MILLER, AIA
A creative to his core, Kevin immerses himself in every project, learning histories, listening to stories, and finding new ways to express ideas through architecture and design. With a strong portfolio of education-focused work, he has dedicated his career to architecture that promotes safety and well-being while serving as a catalyst for meaningful, community-centered change.
After beginning his career in Maryland and expanding his work nationally, Kevin gained a broad understanding of diverse cultures, communities, and educational environments. He has since refocused his efforts on his found home—Baltimore, Maryland—and is committed to shaping a stronger, vibrant city through thoughtful, intentional design. Regardless of scale, Kevin approaches every project with the same rigor and attention to detail, believing that design matters most when it improves someone’s daily experience.
Kevin’s passion for architecture permeates his personal life. A lover of art and architecture at all scales, he uses his free time to create, learn, explore, and experiment. He is particularly drawn to furniture, especially chairs, for their tactile qualities, inventive joinery, and relationship to the human body. Plants keep him grounded, reminding him of the immense beauty and the vast solutions that exist in nature. When he isn’t caring for his horde of houseplants, Kevin volunteers as a graphic designer, speaker, and event coordinator for various Baltimore architectural nonprofit organizations. In his quieter moments, he can be found listening to music, watching British game shows, playing video games, or exploring a city or park he’s never been to.
