Mura Street Rowhomes Rehab Breaks Ground

Exciting progress is underway on Mura Street!

Yesterday, we joined ReBuild Metro, the ReBuild Johnston Square Neighborhood Organization, local leaders, and neighbors to break ground on the Mura Street rowhome rehab project. The energy was inspiring— neighbors, legacy homeowners, and community members spoke and shared their excitement for the future of this neighborhood.

ReBuild Johnston Square has spent years passionately advocating for their neighborhood, and partnering with ReBuild Metro — which shares their commitment to revitalization without displacement — has been a rewarding relationship. ReBuild Metro purchased 18 vacant houses on the 700 block of Mura Street from the city, and Twopoint has been working with them to combine properties to make larger homes that will be available for purchase.
